Shirlene Greer

Shirlene June Greer, 69, of Mound City, Kansas, died Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. She was born February 19, 1938 in Deepwater, Missouri the daughter of Clarence and Beulah Green. She married James Greer on November 25, 1962 at Miami, Oklahoma. She was employed as a CNA and physical therapist with Sugar Valley Nursing Home, prior to retirement. Shirlene was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Jim of Mound City, Kansas; one son, John Jackson, Mound City, Kansas; two daughters, Beulah Williams & Allen of Thomaston, Georgia and Connie Troth & Charlie of Mound City, Kansas; one brother, Donald Green of Brownington, Missouri, four sisters, Ruth Trenary and Sharon Kay Green, both of Clinton, Missouri, Linda Hollick of Shawnee Mission, Kansas and Sharon Sue Pitts of Springfield, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Stacey, Jinfer, Darrell, Greg, Sabrina, Ciara and Ciandra and three great grandchildren, Johnathon, Alex and Ethan. Private family graveside service. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home, Mound City, Kansas.
