Spencer Burris Jr.

Spencer Ross Burris Jr. 74, Blue Mound, Kansas passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 at his home. He was born on June 27, 1944 the son of Spencer Ross and Alta Self Burris. He graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School and received a Bachelor''s Degree from Kansas State University. During the Vietnam era, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was married to Patricia Ingram in October of 1977. She preceded him in death on October 20, 1994. Spencer had been employed with Phoenix Title Company and Vaughn Auto. He was also preceded in death by his parents. Spencer is survived by a sister, Alice Frank. Graveside Funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Curry Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 pm until departure for cemetery at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel.
