Terry Kern

Terry Lee (Sluder) Kern, 64, of Riverside, Missouri, formerly of Blue Mound, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at her home. Terry was born on December 15, 1952 to Joseph Marvin and Wanita Faye (Morrell) Sluder at Fort Scott, KS. She graduated from Blue Mound High School. She worked as a Merchandise Handler and retired from Amazon. Terry was a huge NASCAR fan and she enjoyed making candles. Survivors include two brothers; John Sluder and wife Jean of Blue Mound, KS and Marvin Sluder and wife Susie of Stark, KS; two sisters, Rose Carrow and husband Pat of Independence, MO and Marjorie Moore of Kincaid, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017, 11:30 am at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel, Mound City, Kansas. Inurnment will be in Curry Cemetery. The family suggest contributions to the Blue Mound Alumni Association in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box J, Mound City, Kansas 66056.
