Terry Wallace

Terry Glen Wallace, 57, of Mound City, Kansas died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at his home. Terry was born December 27, 1960 to Vernon LeRoy "Doc" and Patricia Ann (Coffeen) Wallace. He graduated from Jayhawk Linn High School in 1979 and attended college at Pittsburg State University. He married Patricia Susan Karns and they had three children, Scott, Nicholas, and Rebecca. They were divorced after 20 years of marriage. Terry married Janice Mae Golden on August 17, 2013 at Fort Scott. Terry was an excellent woodworker and worked in construction for a number of years. He was a hard worker who loved to be outside. He especially enjoyed working with his cattle. Terry was preceded in death by his father Doc in 1996; his mother Pat on May 23, 2018; and one step-son Aaron Alexander in 2003. Survivors include his wife Janice; two sons, Scott Wallace and wife Annie, and Nicholas Wallace and wife Mandy; one daughter, Rebecca Wallace-Antrim and husband Brian; one step-son, Shaun Alexander and wife Tiffany; one step-daughter, Jennifer Alexander; two sisters, Vicky Snyder and Verna Staniec and husband David; and nine grandchildren. Following Terry's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of Terry's life on Saturday, July 7 at 5:00 pm in the 4-H Building on the Linn County Fairgrounds.
