Wilbur Boyd

Wilbur Boyd, 88, of Blue Mound, Kansas, died Saturday, May 21, 2005 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Humboldt, Kansas. He was born February 21, 1917 in Blue Mound, Kansas, the son of Charles and Alma Orm Boyd. Wilbur was self-employed as a carpenter and painter. He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers; his twin brother, Wilmer; Elvin, Guy, Lloyd, Clyde, Myron & Vernon Boyd; and one sister, Zola Sisson Rodrock. Survivors include two sisters; Ivalea "Pat" Duke and Leona Fraser, both of Lancaster, California; two sisters-in-law; Polly Boyd of Cerritos, California and Mae Boyd of Pleasanton, Kansas. Mr. Boyd was cremated. Private family inurnment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Blue Mound, Kansas.
