Wynona Weaver

Wynona Arlene Weaver, age 77, Blue Mound, Kansas passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the Olathe Medical Center. She was born on December 7, 1938 at Denver, Colorado the daughter of Phillip and Mary Jackson Coleman. She married Darwyn Weaver on February 14, 1956 at St. Patrick's Church in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a member of Sertoma, Red Hat Society, and was a Campfire Girls leader. She had a passion for quilting. She was preceded in death by a sister Phyllis Gardner. Wynona is survived by her husband Darwyn, four children: Pat Weaver, Vickie Horton and husband Greg, James Weaver, and John Weaver, a brother Phillip Coleman III, eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Mound City Chapel.
