Eddie Geyer

Eddie Geyer age 68, of Moberly, Missouri passed away on August 14, 2021.  He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on January 19, 1953, the son of Fred and Betty(Patton) Geyer.  He graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School.  He soon gained employment at Associated Electric Power Plant in Thomas Hill, Missouri.  He began work there as a boilermaker before being hired on as a journeyman welder/mechanic.  In 2007, he was promoted to mechanical maintenance supervisor and retired in that position after completing his 35th year with the company.  Eddie was united in marriage to his wife Janice on February 12, 1983.  They lived a long a happy life together. They enjoyed camping and spending time with their grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Faye Geyer.  Eddie is survived by his wife Janice Geyer of Moberly, siblings Don (Trudy) Geyer, Bob (Mary) Geyer, and Carol (Frank) Dombrowski, children Rachelle Poulin (Wolfgang Ruiz) of Moberly, Jennifer Bonebright (Nick) of Overland Park, Melody Gibson (Rob) of Moberly, Jacquelyn Carlson (Mark) of Maryville, and Charles Geyer (Cenna) of Moberly,  grandchildren Sean, Ally (Michael), Reimund, Austin, Logan, Brooklyn, Anthony, Elora, Evan, Peyton, Jaxon, Xander, Lacy, Trenton, Isabella, Edward, Ivonna, Anastasia, and great grandson Matthew.

A graveside service will be held 1pm Saturday August 21, 2021 at the Centerville, Kansas Cemetery. The family suggest contributions to Yellowstone Forever in honor of Eddies love for camping and Yellowstone National Park these may be sent in care of Schneider Funeral Home P.O.
