Paul Travis Jackson, age 80, Mound City, Kansas left this earthly life to be with the Lord Sunday, March 22, 2020 at his home. He will be greatly missed by many family members and friends. He was born on July 9, 1939 at the family farm in northern Bourbon County, Kansas the son of Raymond and Bertha Colgin Jackson. He leaves behind his wife of 58 1/2 years, Wyoma May (Cramer) Jackson, three children, Travis and wife Julie, Brian, and Leland and wife Deanne, nine grandchildren, Nikia, Eric, Dianna, Emily, Jacob, Wyatt, Alexis, Carly, and Glynnis, fourteen great grandchildren, Tia, Emma, McKenna, Devin, Zayden, Kale, Cameron, Matthew, Clarissa, Raylee, Gabriel, Olivia, Farrah, and Knile, one great-great-grandchild, Brange, two brothers, Darrell and Leroy Jackson, and one sister Evelyn Larkey. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, Verlin Frame, Velvia Pearman, Marybell Pruitt, Jessie Ross, and Joan Stewart, two brothers, Dorwin and Gilbert Jackson, and one great grandchild, Braden. Paul was a hard working farmer and could fix almost anything, but his life long passion was working in the oil field with his brothers Darrell and Leroy, his sons, and his nieces and nephews. He served in the Army from 1962 to 1963 where he gained my Army buddies. He loved mowing the grass with his John Deere lawn tractor, playing with his dogs, fishing, camping, gardening, country music and vanilla ice cream(home made preferred). He enjoyed collecting pocket knives, hat pins, coins, and going to the Pioneer harvest Festival each year. He was a member of the Mooney-Long American Legion Post 279 in Blue Mound, Kansas and the Mound City Christian Church.
