Thomas Burke

Thomas Eugene Burke, 75, Kansas City, Missouri passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022.  He was born in Topeka, Kansas on September 23, 1946 the son of Eugene and Margaret Regan Burke.  He graduated from Baxter Springs High School in the Class of 1964.  He was an Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.  He was a sport enthusiast, enjoying the Chiefs, Royals, Sooner Football and KU Basketball.  He also liked classic rock and roll music.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Rian, and a sister Vicki Hopkins.  Thomas is survived by six brothers, Michael, James, Daniel, Timothy, John and Dennis Burke, and a sister Mary Aspenson.

Graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Oswego, Kansas Cemetery.  Contributions are suggested to Children's Mercy Hospital.
