Timothy Tucker

Timothy 'T' Tucker, age 73, Linn Valley, Kansas passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021.  He was born in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Clyde C. and Lois Joe-Ellen(Timothy) Tucker.  Tim was raised in the Salt Lake City area, returning to the Kansas City area after high school.  It was then that he went on mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Tim married his bride, Lucinda Duree Pope, of nearly fifty years on November 30, 1971.   He was a master shoe repairman and boot maker.  He had amazing love for his family and his children.  He spent his young adult life moving around the country on different job adventures with the love and support of his family.  He spent the last twenty-two years in the log home that he and his wife built together, as it was their dream to build and retire in the Linn Valley Community.  Tim was preceded in death by a son, Lyle John Tucker, his parents and a sister, Claudia Owens.  Tim was the oldest of eleven children, Linda Mabey(Brian), Bonnie Hitt(Jim), Claudia Owens(Kelly), Sandra Courtright(Glen), Rebecca Saxton(Kyle), Peggy Fitzgerald(Ken), Nancy Hanson, Alice Fivas(Brian), Michael Tucker, and Paul Tucker(Rachel).  Tim is survived by his wife, Lucinda,by his children, Lewis Tucker, Jason Tucker, Meredith Mowery(Jason)and Jennifer Stark(Drew).   Tim is also survived by his grandchildren, Lauren Beach(Jeremiah), Atlanta Stark, Cameron Ulry, D'Alan Stark, Brin Stark, Amara Cox, Jewel Mowery, Jacob Mowery, Callen Mowery, Paige Hulse, Scarlett Hulse and Vivian Stark.

Graveside service 10 am Friday July 23, 2021 Oak Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation 5 to 7 pm Thursday, Schneider Funeral Home, La Cygne Chapel.  Contributions are suggested to Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary Fund, c/o Schneider Funeral Home, P.O. Box 304, La Cygne, KS 66040
